Santa Monica College opened its new Student Services Center after nearly 20 years of planning. Housing over 15 departments under one roof presented the challenge of promoting community and simplifying navigation within the new center. We introduced InfoMate, a color coded way-finding system available at the welcome desk upon entering. It includes department map locations, relatable questions for students, office hours, and QR codes linking to department websites, all aimed at enhancing student engagement and accessibility.
